Job DescriptionYou will lead the development and optimization of SEEK's financial planning, consolidation, and tax reporting platforms using Oracle EPM tools. This role combines technical expertise with team leadership as you manage Oracle Planning, FCCS, and TRCS systems while overseeing a team of techno-functional professionals.
You will ensure accurate financial planning during budget and forecast cycles, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across finance systems. Working closely with Finance and IT teams, you will streamline processes and explore AI-driven efficiencies to enhance insights. Success in this role means delivering timely, accurate financial reporting while building a high-performing team and advancing SEEK's finance technology capabilities.
You will act as the key liaison between EPM platforms and users, ensuring effective change management. This role may involve short-term travel within Asia Pacific as you contribute to SEEK's global finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor techno-functional team members with clear performance feedback
- Oversee Oracle EPM platform stability, performance, and business alignment
- Support budget and half-year forecast cycles ensuring accurate system outputs
- Maintain governance frameworks and data quality standards across finance systems
- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements using emerging technologies
- Establish reconciliation controls between EPM and source systems like ERP
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit readiness
- Develop training plans and provide team members with tools for professional excellence
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations to improve user experience
Skills and experience
- Degree in finance, accounting, or technology
- Extensive experience managing Oracle EPM applications (FCCS, TRCS, Planning)
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and tax reporting
- Proven experience in financial systems governance and data quality assurance
- Experience reconciling finance systems with ERP and source platforms
- Leadership experience managing and developing high-performance teams
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with creative solution approach
- Strong communication skills presenting complex data clearly to stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Organisation, planning, coordination and prioritization skills in complex environments
- Demonstrated ability to enhance business processes and drive continuous improvement
- Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities
