Our team is growing! We are currently looking for a talented Export Manager to join our team and have primary responsibility for the strategic footprint of the McCain export business across all markets. The objective for this role is to maximize the sales and distribution of McCain products across the Pacific Islands for all products and China, which is primarily for our vegetable portfolio.
About the role
- To determine the strategic footprint of McCain products across the markets
- To identify opportunities for both existing and new ranges of product across the retail and foodservice portfolio
- Achieve AOC metrics (volume & profit) through creating & executing an annual export plan along with a five-year roadmap
- Market analysis and development
- Pricing management
- Identify capacity to drive factory efficiency and overhead recoveries
- Accurate monthly and long-term forecasting
- In a timely manner, manage all customer queries
- Research and liaise with government bodies and industry associations
About you
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (International Business)
- Highly organized and a demonstrated ability to multitask
- Holds strong export distributor relationships
- Excellent knowledge of the export landscape, and its complexities
- Proven sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to successfully communicate across all levels and functions
- Valid passport and willingness to travel on a quarterly basis
