Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a casual capacity with an immediate start. This role is crucial in supporting patients to achieve their desired and optimum health outcomes through tailored exercise programs.

The Opportunity:

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing patients to understand their specific needs and goals.
  • Prescribing and developing individualised exercise programs.
  • Supervising patient exercise programs in close collaboration with our Physiotherapists.
  • Encouraging maximum patient participation to ensure effective rehabilitation and health improvement.

About You:

We are looking for an Exercise Physiologist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will possess:

Essential:

  • Bachelor of Exercise Physiology or equivalent (as per ESSA accreditation requirements).
  • A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group exercise programs.
  • Proven experience working successfully within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Desirable:

  • Membership of a relevant professional organisation (e.g. Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science Australia).
  • Knowledge and implementation of outcome measures.

Additional Information
