Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a casual capacity with an immediate start. This role is crucial in supporting patients to achieve their desired and optimum health outcomes through tailored exercise programs.
The Opportunity:
As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing patients to understand their specific needs and goals.
- Prescribing and developing individualised exercise programs.
- Supervising patient exercise programs in close collaboration with our Physiotherapists.
- Encouraging maximum patient participation to ensure effective rehabilitation and health improvement.
About You:
We are looking for an Exercise Physiologist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will possess:
Essential:
- Bachelor of Exercise Physiology or equivalent (as per ESSA accreditation requirements).
- A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group exercise programs.
- Proven experience working successfully within a multidisciplinary team.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Desirable:
- Membership of a relevant professional organisation (e.g. Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science Australia).
- Knowledge and implementation of outcome measures.
