The Opportunity:

This is a unique executive leadership opportunity to shape the commercial strategy and market readiness of Revolution Medicines' rapidly expanding JPAC business. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, JPAC, with a strong matrix partnership to Global Commercial Leadership, the Executive Director, Commercial Strategy, Access & Operations, JPAC will lead regional commercial strategy, market access, pricing, new product planning and commercial operations across the region.

As a member of the JPAC Leadership Team, this executive will partner closely with Medical Affairs, Finance, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs, Supply Chain and Global Commercial functions to ensure the region is strategically positioned for successful commercialization and sustainable long-term growth.

The Executive Director will establish integrated regional commercial strategies, lead value and access planning, drive launch excellence and commercial operations, and act as a critical enabler of Revolution Medicines' Global-with-Local operating model—ensuring global strategies are translated into locally executable plans while bringing regional market insights back to the enterprise.

Success in the Role

Within the first 24–36 months, the successful leader will:

  • Develop and execute an integrated commercial strategy for the JPAC region aligned with global priorities.

  • Successfully prepare the region for multiple oncology launches through outstanding commercial planning and execution.

  • Build scalable commercial planning and operations capabilities supporting both affiliate and distributor markets.

  • Establish robust regional value, pricing and market access strategies that optimize patient access and commercial performance.

  • Create best-in-class new product planning capabilities that influence global portfolio strategy and lifecycle planning.

  • Implement commercial governance and operating processes that strengthen execution across diverse international markets.

  • Become a trusted strategic advisor to the SVP, JPAC, Global Commercial Leadership and Executive Leadership Team.

  • Build a high-performing commercial organization that reflects Revolution Medicines' values of innovation, collaboration, integrity and patient focus.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Commercial Leadership

  • Serve as a core member of the JPAC Leadership Team, contributing to regional strategy and global enterprise priorities.

  • Develop and execute the regional commercial strategy aligned with global corporate objectives.

  • Lead regional commercial planning across the product lifecycle from early commercialization through launch and lifecycle management.

  • Represent the JPAC region in global commercial governance, portfolio discussions and strategic investment decisions.

  • Ensure regional market insights inform global commercial strategy, development priorities and portfolio decisions.

  • Partner closely with Global Commercial teams to ensure consistent strategic direction while enabling local market flexibility.

Commercial Strategy & Operations

  • Lead regional commercial planning, business operations and execution excellence across the JPAC region.

  • Establish governance, planning and performance management processes that improve commercial effectiveness.

  • Develop commercial capabilities supporting affiliate expansion, distributor management and future organizational growth.

  • Drive forecasting, launch readiness planning, resource prioritization and business performance reviews.

  • Act as the primary regional commercial integrator between Global functions and local markets.  

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve commercial execution through technology, analytics and operational excellence.

  • Ensure alignment across regional commercial teams and global functional partners.

Value, Access & Pricing

  • Develop integrated regional market access, pricing and reimbursement strategies supporting successful commercialization.

  • Lead regional value proposition development in partnership with Global Market Access and Medical Affairs.

  • Ensure regional payer insights and health system dynamics influence global evidence generation and value strategies.

  • Support pricing governance, pricing corridor development and launch sequencing across international markets.

  • Partner with affiliates and distributors to optimize market access execution while respecting local healthcare environments.

  • Monitor evolving access landscapes and recommend strategic responses that maximize patient access.

New Product Planning & Portfolio Strategy

  • Lead early commercial planning activities for pipeline assets across the JPAC region.

  • Develop regional launch strategies that inform global commercialization plans.

  • Identify market opportunities, competitive dynamics and evolving treatment landscapes across key international markets.

  • Partner with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs and Global Commercial teams to integrate customer insights into development strategy.

  • Support lifecycle management planning and portfolio prioritization across the oncology pipeline.

  • Ensure commercial readiness plans are integrated across cross-functional launch teams.

Organization & People Leadership

  • Build, develop and lead a high-performing Commercial Strategy organization across the JPAC region.

  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative and performance-driven culture aligned with Revolution Medicines' mission and values.

  • Develop leadership capability, succession plans and talent strategies supporting long-term organizational growth.

  • Promote strong cross-functional collaboration across regional and global matrix teams.

  • Lead organizational change while maintaining agility during rapid international expansion.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Economics or a related discipline; MBA preferred.

  • Significant senior commercial leadership experience within the global biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated success leading regional or international commercial organizations supporting oncology or specialty pharmaceutical products.

  • Deep experience in commercial strategy, launch planning, market access and pricing.

  • Demonstrated success leading early commercial planning and new product planning initiatives.

  • Experience supporting multiple international product launches.

  • Strong understanding of international healthcare systems, reimbursement environments and pricing frameworks.

  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership teams in highly matrixed global organizations.

  • Strong strategic planning, commercial analytics and business leadership capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication, executive influencing and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Oncology or precision medicine.
