EA – Supporting up to 2 x General Managers - 18 month opportunity
The Health, Safety & Wellbeing team and the Business Solutions team both sit in the Everyday People Services function within the Human Resources support unit. They are specialist functions that work across the Group, at all levels, to build tomorrow’s bank today and a brighter future for all.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to provide high level administrative support to 2 x General Managers within our Health, Safety & Wellbeing team and the Business Solutions team. You will ensure their time is managed effectively by working in partnership with the GM’s including pre-empting their needs, managing the GM’s demanding schedules, and act as a key point of contact to ensure smooth day-to-day operations are met.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Diary & Email Management – Oversee two busy schedules, prioritising commitments and ensuring seamless daily operations
- Gatekeeping & Communication – Manage correspondence, filter requests, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Travel Coordination – Arrange detailed domestic and international travel itineraries
- Expense management – Accurately tracking, processing, and reporting expenses, ensuring financial compliance
- Meeting management – Prepare agendas, reports, presentations and arrange meeting room bookings
- Event management – Arranging events/functions/offsites/team building events
- Stakeholder Management – Act as a trusted liaison between the GM’s and internal/external contacts
- Establish and maintain strong, effective, strategic and appropriate working relationships within business partners, EAs and other stakeholders
- Risk management – Provide HR support and assist with recruitment requests, staff exits, onboarding / offboarding, and adhering to the Group’s policies and procedures
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the wider teams
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- Previous EA experience supporting similar level GM’s of a similar size organisation
- A proactive working style with ability to pre-empt needs and take initiative to get things done
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior skills in Microsoft Office suite
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality, particularly across the Health Safety & Wellbeing function
- Ability to build relationships, is highly personable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow, priorities, work well under pressure and be flexible
- High level of pragmatic professionalism – face to face, over the phone and through correspondence
