Your role

At Allens, our business teams are specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

As part of our national Events and Networks team based in Melbourne, you'll be responsible for a range of client facing events including our national webinar program, thought leadership series, client relationship events, corporate hospitality and cultural sponsorships.

As an Events & Networks Executive, you will:

  • Plan and deliver events within the Melbourne-based program, managing all aspects from inception to post-event evaluation, including setting objectives and measuring ROI.

  • Lead logistics for selected national webinars, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and firm priorities.

  • Create premium client experiences, applying agreed client selection strategies and identifying opportunities for engagement.

  • Manage event administration, including CRM and web systems, ensuring accurate data and reporting.

  • Leverage CRM insights to recommend targeted event campaigns and enhance client engagement.

  • Utilise AI-driven tools to improve event planning, execution, and evaluation.

  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to maximize client engagement opportunities through events.

  • Engage key stakeholders, manage budgets, and coordinate with external suppliers and venues.

  • Provide on-site event support, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional client experience.

  • Apply creative thinking to event briefs, delivering innovative and impactful solutions.

This is a part-time (3 days per week), permanent opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.

About you

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end high profile client events in a corporate setting.

  • Corporate events experience supporting a team and running events autonomously

  • Exceptional client management skills and a positive client service approach.

  • Excellent communication skills and professional composure.

  • A flexible, hands-on approach to work with experience in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

  • The ability to work collaboratively within and across teams and offices.

  • Superior work ethic and strong time management skills.

  • Knowledge of the legal or professional services industry would be advantageous

  • Tertiary qualifications in event management, business or marketing are desirable.

  • A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others
