We’re looking for a driven and highly organised  Events & Partnerships Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Pattern’s B2B events and partnership programs in Australia. You’ll own everything from executive dinners and roundtables to large-scale sponsorships, while managing key strategic partners to build influence and drive demand.

This is a hands-on role that blends logistics, commercial thinking, and relationship-building – ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This full-time, hybrid role can be  based in our Melbourne or Sydney office.

Key Responsbilities

  • Plan and execute Pattern-led events including Executive Acceleration Forums (EAFs), roundtables, client dinners, and marketing workshops.
  • Manage logistics end-to-end: venues, catering, run sheets, speakers, guest comms, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Lead our presence at sponsored industry events - from stand design and speaker prep to promotion and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with content, CRM, and paid media teams to drive registrations and maximise event impact.
  • Track and report on event ROI, including lead generation, pipeline influence, and partner engagement.
  • Manage and grow strategic marketing partnerships with platforms and technology providers.
  • Identify and lead co-marketing campaigns and joint event activations.
  • Run regular partner planning sessions and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with Sales on account mapping, co-sell initiatives, and referral motions.
  • Cultivate relationships with customers and partners who can act as brand advocates or event speakers.
  • Build a VIP ecosystem of senior marketers, ecommerce leaders, and future-facing collaborators.
  • Create unique, high-touch experiences that deepen loyalty and differentiate Pattern in the market.
  • Maintain a forward-looking 6–12 month calendar of events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and relationships with suppliers and venues.
  • Ensure tight CRM integration for all events and partnerships (e.g. tagging, tracking, lead flow).
  • Support award submissions when aligned with major events, campaigns, or partner programs.

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B event marketing, partnerships, or field marketing.
  • Proven ability to run professional events end-to-end, both in-person and virtual.
  • Strong stakeholder and partner management skills - from tech platforms to C-level clients.
  • Excellent project management and organisational capabilities.
  • A commercial mindset: you know how to link brand and partnership activity to business results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Australian work rights (e.g. citizen or permanent resident).

  • You’ll report to the Sydney-based Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with the broader marketing, sales, and ecommerce teams locally and globally. We’re a data-driven, results-oriented group that values creativity, curiosity, and accountability.
