The Role

Join us as an Event and Conference Coordinator and play a key role in delivering exceptional conferences, exhibitions, corporate functions and special events at Crown Melbourne.

You will coordinate events from planning through to execution, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard. You will work collaboratively with operational teams, suppliers and stakeholders to create seamless event experiences while building strong client relationships and driving commercial outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of conferences, exhibitions, meetings and corporate events across Crown Melbourne.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing event requirements from confirmation through to completion.

  • Prepare event orders, floorplans and operational documentation to ensure successful event execution.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • Conduct site inspections, menu tastings and client meetings to support successful event outcomes.

  • Manage event invoicing, reconciliations and payments while ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to upsell food and beverage offerings and promote additional Crown products and services.

  • Ensure accurate event information is maintained within event management systems and communicated effectively to operational teams.

  • Partner with internal departments to deliver seamless event execution and outstanding guest experiences.

  • Support health, safety and compliance requirements while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.

About You

You are a passionate events and hospitality professional who enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

With a proactive and solutions-focused approach, you thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in delivering successful events that exceed expectations.

You will also bring:

  • Experience in event coordination, hospitality, conferencing or customer service within a premium hospitality or events environment.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated customer service experience and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate event documentation.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of Delphi or event management systems highly regarded.

  • Knowledge of event operations, food and beverage service and conference logistics.
