About the role
We’re seeking an ERP System Lead to be responsible for the full lifecycle of Finance and Procurement enhancements, critical to the ERP Finance and Procurement team, in maintaining brilliant basics for the platform.
The ERP Systems Lead will apply Workday platform knowledge to lead the prioritisation of enhancements and problem resolution, perform benefit/cost analysis, and oversees the delivery of enhancements, ensuring they are on time, on quality, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
You’ll join an innovative team, who as an integral member of the ERP Platform Support team, where you will be the Finance and Procurement enhancement representative. You will assess, lobby and drive the delivery of initiatives that provide automation and unlock platform value, and will showcase and report benefit realisation to key stakeholder groups. You will require a sound understanding of the ERP business processes and integration configuration, which will enable you to further unlock enhancement opportunities outside of those raised by the business, and in support of our business strategy.

Day-to-day, you will:
Lead the delivery of key initiatives across the ERP platform and third-party systems, that improves process, quality, cost and mitigates risk
Play an integral role in assessing the pipeline of enhancement suggestions and recommendations put forward by the business
Define and complete submissions in conjunction with process owners and technical resources that detail the benefit/value vs cost/effort of these enhancements
Play a governance role in the end-to-end delivery of initiatives, by providing oversight on all relevant steps and protocols from ideation through to delivery
Lead the facilitation of workshops to engage cross-functional groups
Lead the creation and management of the ERP development roadmap to forecast initiative delivery schedules and resource allocations
Work within Agile principles and practices to delivery ERP initiatives for Finance, Procurement and Reporting
Manage the agile backlog, and support prioritisation of initiatives using standardised agile tools and practises, and in line with ERP strategy
Lead change management, ensuring adherence to the release and change process as defined by ITIL principles and TU ITSM standards
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the ERP Platform team and broader business
Partner with the leadership, the ERP team and business units to understand and assess process deficiencies, challenges and business implications
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
Proven Management experience leading ERP implementation of process and system enhancement initiatives, ideally from a consulting or large corporate environment
Experience with Workday Finance & Procurement project experience & ERP Project Experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated project management skills, effective negotiation skills
Project experience within a complex technical environment with a good understanding of agile methodology, tools, and practises
Ability to embed rigour and change, working closely with non-technical stakeholders to ensure high-level of adoption
Ability to understand complete business systems and to identify potential risks Familiar with ITIL and Jira/Confluence tools that capture document customer requirements
Proven track record with delivering process and system enhancements and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure delivery remains on plan.
Demonstrated experience of being responsible for the schedule, budget, scope, risk, and communication plan
Deep technical Workday experience to ensure fluent conversation with Developers and Testers when describing product requirements
