Job Description

Reporting to the Onboarding Lead and working within a collaborative and supportive Talent team, you will play a key role in delivering timely, accurate and high‑quality employment and onboarding support across Epworth.
Your primary focus will be providing coordinated employment and onboarding support and a high standard of customer service to hiring managers, candidates and new starters. You will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, with customer service at the centre of everything you do.

You will make an impact by:

  • Preparing and issuing accurate and timely employment contracts, and coordinating the end‑to‑end onboarding process to ensure all new starter information is completed and recorded correctly
  • Coordinating visa nominations and sponsorship activities in line with organisational requirements
  • Processing pre‑employment screening checks in accordance with Epworth HealthCare policies, protocols and audit requirements
  • Ensuring all payroll‑related information for new starters is completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes
  • Maintaining consistent, clear and professional communication with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to support smooth recruitment and onboarding outcomes
  • Responding to recruitment and onboarding enquiries via the Talent inbox and phone line in line with service expectations
  • Working collaboratively and constructively within the Talent team to manage competing priorities
  • Handling sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times

Position Description Inherent Requirements

Qualifications

You will bring:

  • Experience in fast paced and high volume administrative recruitment related or similar role
  • Previous human resources experience in a Healthcare or related environment (desirable)
  • Chris21 and Smart Recruiter / Cognology eRecruit technology experience (desirable)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information on a daily basis
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude and proactive professional approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a constructive and participative team member
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – confident with learning new software
