About the role .
An Employee Lifecycle Specialist at McCain serves as the first point of contact for all employees, addressing a broad spectrum of HR topics and providing quick, accurate resolutions to questions and transactional concerns. The role is vital in processing employee and data transactions, handling core HR processes such as onboarding new employees into HR systems, managing employee movements, maintaining the Organisation structure in the HR system, reviewing and responding to requests for changes in employee or work-related data and offboarding employees from HR systems. The role is imperative to ensuring seamless HR operations and exceptional service delivery across the organisation.
This role can be based in either our Ballarat or Melbourne office and is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About You .
What you'll be doing.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers with general HR inquiries via various intake channels (e.g., phone, chat and cases)
- Manage the day-to-day transactions of job-related or employee-related data changes
- Ensure a delightful customer experience by working efficiently to streamline service delivery, identify next steps, promote the usage of self-service as appropriate and build strong customer relationships with HR colleagues globally
- Process and update organization and position data, including the creation and maintenance of jobs, positions, and overall organization structures.
- Ensure compliance with corporate data administration, security standards, and HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in project initiatives to improve and implement HR processes and take part in additional projects as needed.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Proven experience in HR or HR shared services (1-3 years preferred)
- Working knowledge of HR systems is beneficial, particularly SAP and SuccessFactors
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with transaction processing and data management
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
- Multilingual capability (e.g. English plus additional languages) is advantageous
