Join IFF’s Safety Team as our next EHS Coordinator and help shape the future of safety at our Dandenong South site!
This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you’ll be across everything from risk assessments and chemical management to safety training and sustainability programs. No two days are the same – and you’ll have the autonomy and support to truly make an impact.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Drive the success of our Safety & Environmental Management Systems (SMS & EMS)

  • Lead risk assessments across plant, manual handling, and processes

  • Manage incident and injury reporting with a focus on prevention and continuous improvement

  • Deliver engaging safety training and empower employees to own safety every day

  • Champion the Safety Committee, working with HSRs and leaders across shifts

  • Keep our Chemical Safety Management System compliant and up-to-date

  • Lead site inspections and audits to meet ISO standards and WorkSafe compliance

  • Be at the forefront of sustainability – from waste reduction to recycling initiatives

What You’ll Bring
  • Cert IV in WHS / OHS (minimum requirement)

  • Background in manufacturing or warehousing (a big plus!)

  • Experience with chemical safety and/or occupational hygiene (air, noise, dust, ergonomics) is highly regarded

  • Familiarity with ISO standards and Australian EHS legislation

  • Confidence in managing workers’ comp and return-to-work programs (preferred)

  • Tech-savvy with solid MS Office skills

  • A proactive communicator with a positive, team-first attitude.
