About the Role:
As a Senior EHS Coordinator, you will support the implementation and monitoring of Lendlease’s Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System. Your role ensures compliance with global standards, legal obligations, and promotes a strong safety culture across high-risk construction environments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Develop and review site-specific EHS Management Plans and facilitate risk assessments.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations to ensure safety compliance.
- Deliver EHS inductions, onboarding, and training programs tailored to site needs.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to uphold EHS standards.
- Analyse EHS performance data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
- Assist in preparing and closing out corrective actions from audits and investigations.
- Support leadership in implementing safety initiatives and promoting safety culture.
- Facilitate toolbox talks, EHS committee meetings, and workshops to drive engagement.
About You:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (essential).
- Diploma in WHS, Environmental Management, or Training & Assessment (desirable).
- Experience in EHS roles within high-risk industries.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and Federal Safety Commissioner audits.
- Strong understanding of EHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
- Ability to influence safety behaviours and drive continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments and managing multiple priorities.
