Our Team
Our Air Mobility Solutions team creates, develops and deploys air management systems that are critical for safe aircraft movement. With products covering 40% of the world’s airspace, we enable the safe take-off and landing of 2 in 3 aircrafts globally. We offer the opportunity to work on complex systems that push what’s possible in air traffic management including drone technology with room to grow in both technical and team-leading roles.


Your Role

Join us as a Discipline Manager and lead a team delivering one of the most complex and strategically significant air traffic management programs in the Asia-Pacific region.


Working closely with the Head of Discipline based in Singapore, you'll lead and develop a team helping to build capability, drive engineering excellence, and support the successful delivery of a mission-critical program.


Based in our Melbourne office at the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri Country, you will:

  • Lead a high-performing team (~30) driving capability growth, career development and employee engagement
  • Partner with engineering, discipline and delivery leaders to drive engineering excellence, governance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Champion best practices, quality standards, engineering processes and modern ways of working to improve delivery outcomes
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight across complex, mission-critical programs, supporting risk management, design reviews and delivery milestones
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.

Your Experience

We're looking for a people-focused leader who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for developing teams and delivering successful outcomes. You'll bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Experience leading and developing engineering teams within complex project, product or delivery environments
  • Strong Systems Engineering experience, including exposure to the design, integration or delivery of large-scale, complex systems
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary, matrixed and geographically dispersed organisations
  • The ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across engineering, project and leadership teams
  • A collaborative leadership style, with a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing technical talent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complexity, competing priorities and organisational change
  • Experience within defence, aerospace, aviation, telecommunications, transport, space, critical infrastructure or other complex systems environments will be highly regarded.

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
