About the role:

The Director of Marketing will lead a team of multi-skilled marketing professionals across Australia and New Zealand in the agriculture, construction, forestry, turf, golf and rural living sectors.  They will be tasked with building a stronger brand through strategic advertising campaigns, important regional and local events, internal communications, content marketing, community investment and more.   

Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute Brandt’s communication and advertising strategies for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Enhance lead generation and drive customer acquisition across all business sectors, including Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, Turf, and Golf.
  • Oversee internal creative teams and manage relationships with external creative vendors.
  • Collaborate with operations to effectively plan and support tradeshows, field days, demo days, and other industry events, ensuring a strong brand presence.
  • Support operations in creating and maintaining robust community investment plans for each location.
  • Implement a cohesive strategy that aligns our business objectives with the goals of our customers and communities.
  • Proactively develop and execute public relations strategies to increase brand awareness and understanding within the communities we serve.
  • Work closely with the Canadian team to ensure strategy alignment, address website improvements and bug fixes, and manage ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Other duties as required.

About you:

  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel from time to time.
