Job Description

KordaMentha Executive Search is looking for a commercially minded, client-focused and people-centred executive search professionals to join our new and growing practice at the Director level.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who is excited at the opportunity to be a meaningful contributor to the growth of KordaMentha’s Executive Search team, thrives in senior stakeholder environments, enjoys building trusted relationships, and brings the judgement, discipline and market insight required to lead retained executive search assignments from brief through to successful appointment.

In this role, you will play a key part in growing and strengthening our Executive Search practice by:

  • Leading retained executive search assignments from client brief development through to appointment
  • Originating and converting business development opportunities through market intelligence, client relationships and referral networks
  • Advising clients on role design, market positioning, candidate attraction, assessment and appointment recommendations
  • Building trusted relationships with senior clients, candidates, industry leaders and referral partners
  • Overseeing market mapping, research, candidate engagement and shortlisting to deliver rigorous and defensible search outcomes
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the Executive Search brand through market engagement, client advocacy and thought leadership
  • Collaborating across KordaMentha to deliver strategic, commercial and client-focused outcomes

Qualifications

We are looking for an accomplished executive search professional with a strong track record delivering C-suite appointments, who brings commercial confidence, trusted advisory capability and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients, candidates and colleagues.

You will bring:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in executive search or aligned industries
  • Strong executive search capability across briefing, research strategy, candidate assessment and appointment management
  • A proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior clients, candidates and referral networks
  • Commercial acumen and confidence identifying, developing and converting business opportunities
  • Sound judgement, discretion and integrity when managing confidential client and candidate information
  • Highly developed communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to synthesise market intelligence and provide considered, practical advice
  • Resilience, adaptability and confidence operating with pace, ambiguity and competing priorities
