Digital Marketing Manager

Full-time, ongoing | Melbourne

Australian Venue Co. is looking for a commercially focused Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital channel strategy and manage the team responsible for paid media, CRM and digital execution.

This is a high-impact role with ownership of AVC’s key digital channels, including Meta, Google, TikTok and emerging platforms. You’ll be responsible for turning customer and performance data into smarter investment decisions, stronger digital experiences and measurable commercial growth across our multi-brand venue portfolio.

The opportunity

You’ll lead the digital strategy across a large and diverse hospitality business, balancing long-term growth with the pace and priorities of a high-volume consumer environment.

You’ll manage and develop the Digital team, oversee agency and platform partners, and work closely with Marketing, Loyalty, Customer Insights and Digital Product to improve acquisition, engagement and conversion.

You’ll also play a key role in identifying opportunities to use AI, automation and emerging technology to improve marketing effectiveness and team productivity.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Own the strategy and performance of paid media across Meta, Google, TikTok and emerging channels.
  • Set channel priorities, investment strategies and performance standards.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Digital team.
  • Manage digital media and agency partners, ensuring strong delivery and commercial accountability.
  • Oversee CRM execution, customer activation and digital customer journeys.
  • Improve campaign performance, personalisation, automation and conversion.
  • Manage digital budgets and optimise investment against commercial outcomes.
  • Establish clear measurement frameworks and translate data into practical recommendations.
  • Partner with Digital Product to improve landing pages, websites and customer journeys.
  • Identify and test new platforms, technologies, AI tools and workflow improvements.
  • Report on performance across key metrics including ROAS, CPA, engagement, conversion and attributable revenue.
About you

You’re an experienced digital marketer and people leader who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial judgement. You understand how to build effective digital strategies, but you’re equally comfortable getting into the detail and making things happen.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital performance, growth or acquisition marketing.
  • Proven experience developing and managing paid media strategies across Meta and Google.
  • Strong knowledge of TikTok Ads Manager and GA4.
  • Experience leading and developing a digital or performance marketing team.
  • Experience managing agencies, media partners and external suppliers.
  • Strong budget management and commercial optimisation experience.
  • Experience across CRM, marketing automation and customer journeys.
  • A strong understanding of digital consumer behaviour and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience using data to drive decisions and improve performance.
  • A curious, forward-thinking approach to AI, automation and emerging technology.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively across multiple brands and competing priorities.
  • Hospitality, retail or another high-volume consumer environment is highly desirable.
