You will work across master planning, development design and town planning, collaborating with more than 50 developer partners on residential projects throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.

About the RoleWorking closely with our Land Development and Acquisitions teams, you will produce accurate master planning, development design and town planning documentation for projects across Victoria.
You will collaborate with developer partners, consultants, engineers, suppliers and internal teams to develop practical design solutions that meet project requirements and comply with Victorian planning and building regulations.
This role would suit an experienced Draftsperson who enjoys variety, complex problem-solving and being involved in the early stages of residential development.
What You’ll Be DoingProducing master planning and development design documentation.
Preparing town planning submissions and associated design documentation for councils across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
Collaborating directly with developer partners and contributing to strong, long-term relationships.
Working closely with internal teams, consultants, engineers and suppliers.
Ensuring documentation complies with the NCC, Victorian Building Regulations, Small Lot Housing Code and ResCode.
Assessing site conditions, land fall and required site works to develop practical built-form solutions.
Reviewing service locations and coordinating with engineers to support clear and accurate site delivery.
Completing quality assurance checks and resolving design or documentation inconsistencies.
A Diploma or higher qualification in building design, drafting or a related discipline.
Demonstrated residential drafting experience, ideally within volume building, property development or medium-density construction.
Experience preparing council town planning submissions and an understanding of urban planning requirements.
The ability to interpret and produce accurate, detailed drawings.
Strong AutoCAD capability, with Revit experience highly regarded.
Sound knowledge of Victorian residential construction requirements, including the NCC, Building Regulations, Small Lot Housing Code and ResCode.
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and practical problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A proactive and collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
Work on varied residential developments with some of Victoria’s leading developer partners.
Build experience across master planning, development design and town planning.
