We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Development Analyst to join our Sydney team. Supporting ESR's national Development business, you will work closely with Development, Funds Management and Finance teams to deliver financial analysis, feasibility modelling and reporting across a diverse development pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to the full development lifecycle while building your career within a high-performing real assets platform.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Prepare, maintain and review development feasibilities, cash flow models and scenario analysis to support investment and development decisions
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including investor reports, budgets and reforecasts
  • Partner with Development, Funds Management and Finance teams to evaluate development opportunities, leasing outcomes and project performance
  • Manage and enhance development databases, financial models and reporting tools to improve data quality and decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage technology, automation and AI tools to improve efficiency

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills, experience and approach:

  • Degree qualified in Property, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline, with 2+ years' relevant experience
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability and exposure to property or real estate data
  • Commercially astute with the ability to interpret and present complex financial and market information
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Curious and proactive mindset, with an interest in continuous improvement, technology and AI-enabled ways of working
