This role sits at the centre of how Civica delivers value to customers, ensuring our platforms connect seamlessly with the systems that underpin critical public services. It combines technical depth with customer engagement, providing the opportunity to design and deliver integration solutions that directly support successful system implementations and long-term customer outcomes.
You will work closely with customers, product teams and engineering specialists across the full delivery lifecycle, from solution design through to deployment and go-live. The role provides exposure to a wide range of environments, technologies and sectors, including government, education and regulated industries, where integration quality and reliability are essential.
The position offers a balance of hands-on technical work and stakeholder engagement, with accountability for ensuring integration solutions are robust, well-designed and aligned to customer needs. It also provides the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement in integration practices, documentation and delivery standards across the Professional Services function.
Requirements
What you will need to be successful in this role
- Strong experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, including authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, API keys and JWT
- Proven experience integrating with Salesforce, including APIs, platform events or connected applications
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, end-to-end integration designs
- Experience delivering integrations across development, test and production environments
- Capability to validate solutions through structured testing, defect resolution and go-live readiness activities
- Strong documentation skills, including interface specifications, mapping documents and deployment instructions
- Effective stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering and project delivery teams
- Exposure to cloud integration tools such as Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps or similar platforms
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for integration or data deployments (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Strong attention to quality and ability to align delivery to timelines, customer expectations and project outcomes
