As our Data & Automation Analyst, you’ll help turn data into actionable insights that support our digital marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with teams across Aussie Broadband to provide the reporting, metrics and analysis needed to deliver successful campaigns. Your work will directly support both customer acquisition and retention.
This role is a permanent, full‑time opportunity with hybrid working arrangements.

Let’s talk about you

  • Understanding of the telco industry and customer journeys.

  • 2+ years’ experience in data analysis within digital marketing, CRM or lifecycle teams.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and audience segmentation.

  • Hands‑on skills in data warehousing and SQL (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).

  • Background in data quality, validation and governance.

  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration tools.

  • Familiarity with data modelling for marketing events, consent, profiles and lifecycle stages.

  • Proficient with BI/dashboard tools such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau.

  • Experience in customer journey mapping, segmentation and automation design.

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to collect, analyse and interpret data to support decision‑making.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, work independently and adapt quickly.

How will you support our “Why?”

  • Analyse behavioural, demographic and psychographic data to identify high‑value segments.

  • Support audience strategy across paid media, CRM and lifecycle messaging.

  • Evaluate customer journeys and drop‑off points to inform personalised experiences.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to meet their data and reporting needs.

  • Ensure accurate data flow between CRM, marketing tools and the data warehouse.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date consent records, preference centre syncs and compliance alignment.

  • Maintain data dictionaries, tracking specifications, segment logic and data guidelines.

  • Champion best‑practice channel use across the team.

  • Understand how to integrate data from CRM and website sources.

  • Use MarTech tools to nurture customers at scale.

  • Look for new opportunities and innovative ways to improve performance.

  • Own marketing data governance and keep the team accountable.

  • Stay current with legislation and ensure all activity meets compliance requirements.
