Who We Are

Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.

We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.

Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.

About the role

This is an individual contributor role sitting within our data function, working closely with the sales leadership team. Your job is not to build dashboards or own reporting — it is to identify where Heidi should grow next.

That means going deep in specific market segments, understanding where there is real density and momentum, and pointing the sales team at the right opportunities. The output is direction, not documentation.

What you’ll do
  • Identify high-potential verticals and segments where Heidi has the best chance to grow, and build the commercial case for prioritisation

  • Wrangle messy data from multiple sources into clear, defensible insights

  • Work directly with the sales team to translate analysis into action — not just hand off slides

  • Develop a deep understanding of our existing data stack and work within it responsibly

  • Support the expansion of our APAC commercial strategy into new markets over time

What we’re looking for
  • Strong SQL skills — you are comfortable writing and optimizing queries independently

  • A track record of drawing meaningful insight from data and translating it into a commercial point of view

  • Commercial instinct: you understand what growth actually means for a business and can orient your analysis toward it

  • High critical thinking; someone who can frame the right question before answering it

  • Familiarity with Omni or HubSpot is a plus, not a requirement

Who you are

You are early in your career but intellectually ambitious. You want to grow into a role, not just execute it. You are comfortable sitting at the intersection of data and commercial strategy, and you would rather find the next opportunity than report on the last one.

The way we work

1. Build to Last

We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.

2. Own Your Practice

Ideas rise on merit, not title, and everyone shares responsibility for the standards we set together.

3. Move Fast, Stay Steady

We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.

4. Make Others Better

Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.

Why you will flourish with us

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.

  • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum

  • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups

  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!

Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants as we're committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
