Company Description

At Zelora, we make home electrification simpler and more affordable. Backed by Bunnings and powered by Intellihub, our Australian-first subscription model for Solar & Battery helps households take control of their energy without the hassle, high stakes or big upfront cost.

We’re a young brand with strong backing and a clear ambition - become the name Australians turn to when they’re ready to electrify with solar, battery and everything else. That means our team is small, entrepeneurial, fast-moving and close to the work. Every person here has real ownership of what we build and how we grow, whilst being supported by a positive, safe and productive workplace to thrive in.

We’re building a business, brand and culture from the ground up – and helping Australians confidently make the switch to renewable energy along the way.

Job Description

If you've ever found yourself thinking, "Surely there has to be a better way for customers to experience this..." then our role could be for you.

At Zelora, we're making solar, battery and EV charging simpler for Australians. We're growing quickly, launching new products and building experiences that help customers feel confident on their electrification journey. That's where you come in.

As our Customer Marketing Manager, you'll own and shape the customer journey from lead to post install and beyond. You'll spend your days thinking about the people behind the process. The customer that wants the benefits of solar & battery but doesn't know where to start. The customer who's waiting for an update. The customer who wants to find information in the app.

Your job is to make every step feel clear, helpful and human.

No two days are the same. One morning, you might be reviewing journey performance and customer feedback, uncovering opportunities to improve conversion or remove friction from an existing experience. By lunch, you could be collaborating with Product, Technology, Sales, Operations and Support teams to design a brand-new customer journey that speeds up install. By the afternoon, you could be launching a targeted campaign, supporting a new product launch or briefing an automated workflow in HubSpot.

The common thread? Everything starts with the customer.

This is a role for someone who loves making things better. Someone who's naturally curious, enjoys solving problems and gets a kick out of seeing a small improvement create noticeably better CX. You'll need to be comfortable working across multiple projects, bringing people together and turning ideas into action.

It's a big role, but you'll have plenty of support. You'll be backed by an experienced marketing team who can help bring your ideas to life through content, creative and campaign execution. You'll also have agency partners on hand to help build, test and optimise customer journeys and HubSpot workflows.

You'll thrive here if you enjoy ownership, variety and the opportunity to make a tangible impact. The work is fast-paced, sometimes complex and always rewarding. You'll have the freedom to shape experiences that influence business growth while making life easier for our customers.

Zelora has big ambitions, paired with the backing of Bunnings and Intellihub. If you're excited by building things, improving things and being the voice of the customer in a business that's just getting started, we'd love to hear from you!

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
