About the Role
On any given day you might
- Elevate the connection between humans and brands through innovative product and experience design
- Lead teams to solve complex problems by designing standout user experiences others struggle to achieve
- Take creative leaps and push our comfort zones, and our clients
- Progress the craft of product and experience design and be evangelical about what’s next
- Strategise, concept and design groundbreaking multi-modal experiences
- Work with our Strategy, Visual Design, Copy, Account and Tech teams to define and
- deliver products across multiple platforms
- Structure narratives for client presentations and push systematic design work to give impact and creative edge
- Lead through experimentation, vision-setting, and forward momentum
- Provide leadership, training and mentorship to other Experience and UI Designers
The ideal person
- Can turn opportunities into action with entrepreneurial spirit
- Has a wealth of experience, but is keen to experiment and try new things
- More comfortable in prototypes that illustrate the vision, rather than pages of decks
- Exemplifies grace under pressure
- Has ample experience working directly with clients
- Has experimented with AI-enhanced design
- Has experience with design systems or component libraries at scale
- Has a proven ability to lead the design of large, complex interaction systems
- Is a natural leader and has experience mentoring a team of UI Designers
- Is a craft-focused practitioner
You bring
- 10+ years of experience in Experience Design, Interaction Design or Product Design
- A portfolio of work that spans digital products, services, and brand experiences
- Expertise in interaction design, systems thinking, and user-centered methods
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to tell compelling stories about complex work
- A clear POV on what’s next in product & experience design—and a desire to help shape it at R/GA
- Is comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
