Profile Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in a social media support role, content creation, SEO support, and WordPress web design
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of WordPress (theme customization, plugins, page builders, edits), Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
- Creative Skills: Demonstrated ability in graphic design and video editing using tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent platforms
- Content & Copywriting: Proven ability to write compelling, brand-appropriate copy for social media captions, website pages, blog posts, and email communications in fluent English
- Industry Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in home services, roofing, construction, or a related trades industry
- Self-Starter Mentality: Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the company's digital presence
Core responsibilities:
- Social Media Content Creation: Create and publish engaging content across all social media platforms, including short-form video, graphics, and photo-based posts tailored to residential and commercial roofing services in the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles County market
- Video Editing & Graphic Design: Produce polished video edits, before-and-after project visuals, promotional reels, and branded graphic assets for use across social channels, the company website, and digital ad campaigns
- WordPress Updates & Maintenance: Modify, and continuously improve the company's WordPress website on a weekly basis, ensuring the site is visually professional, mobile-responsive, fast-loading, and efficient
- SEO Strategy & Keyword Optimization: Research, implement, and track targeted keywords related to roofing services, local service areas, and high-intent search terms to improve organic search rankings and drive inbound lead volume
- Email & Posting Management: Monitor and respond to incoming emails, online inquiries, review site messages, and social media comments or DMs on behalf of the company in a timely and professional manner
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor website analytics, social media engagement metrics, and SEO ranking performance, providing regular updates and actionable recommendations to ownership
