Reporting to the Communications Manager as part of the broader Marketing & Digital team, the Creative Communications Specialist will be responsible for delivering outstanding, empathetic, engaging and compelling communications across a variety of mediums including web, email, social, marketing campaigns, and internally as needed.

Key to the role is stakeholder management, agility and bringing a sense of fun to everything we do.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain content for the organisation websites, marketing campaigns, email communications, social media channels and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns that support broader organisation objectives.
  • Take briefs from key stakeholders and deliver exceptional communications solutions with a focus on the customer’s needs and the product benefits
  • Express complicated financial subject matters clearly and compellingly, ensuring tone and language is in keeping with the brand style guide
  • Managing time and timelines to ensure deadlines and expectations are met
  • Reviewing existing digital assets for potential updates or SEO improvements
  • Listening and learning; teaching and sharing; smiling and waving; fitting in and having fun

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience in a communications, marketing communications or copywriting role with a particular focus on the development, production and delivery of internal & external communications
  • Strong multimedia writing skills including websites, social media and other digital channels
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices beneficial
  • Experience in developing and implementing customer e-communications
  • Experience educating various audiences on complex subject matter via multiple channels and mediums
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • An agency background would be considered
