About the Role

Due to an internal move, we are seeking a Country Study Manager (Local Delivery Lead) to join our team at GSK. In this role, you will lead, oversee, and manage the within-country operational planning and delivery activities for Phase I-IV clinical trials in Australia and New Zealand across all therapeutic areas.

Your role will be varied and will include:

  • Leading the local study team for efficient study preparation and delivery.
  • Acting as the operational contact between global central GSK and local study teams.
  • Ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality delivery of studies as per guidelines.
  • Forecasting and meeting study timelines, recruitment targets, and quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate study systems and reporting progress to key stakeholders.

About you?

To be successful in the role, you will have experience in clinical research, incl. clinical project management across all phases.

You’ll also possess:

  • A scientific degree, preferably in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience in various therapeutic areas, with a preference for Oncology and Vaccines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with extensive project and risk management experience.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
