The Opportunity

Findex / Crowe Australasia is looking for a full-time, permanent Corporate Solutions Partner to join our Go To Market team, working hand in hand with our Audit and Advisory service lines.

This role is flexible on location in Australia, the ideal candidate would be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

This is not a traditional practitioner role: you will be the growth catalyst who spots opportunities, builds relationships and connects Audit and Advisory clients to the full breadth of the Crowe (Findex) offering. If you are motivated by impact, variety, sales and client growth, this is a unique pathway into strategic business development within a high-performing practice.

Your role, your contribution!

  • Identify and pursue new Audit and Advisory clients, particularly mid-market entities, not-for-profits and regulated organisations where our expertise is differentiated.

  • Lead discovery meetings to understand prospects' risk appetite, governance needs and current arrangements, and articulate the value of the Crowe (Findex) offering.

  • Build referral networks and centres of influence across legal firms, investment banks and industry associations to generate a quality pipeline.

  • Partner with Audit and Advisory Partners and Managers to uncover unmet needs in existing clients and introduce Audit, Advisory, Tax, Risk and Transactions specialists.

  • Support tenders and proposals alongside Partners, including RFP responses, fee positioning and capability presentations.

  • Work with Marketing and the Go to Market team on targeted Audit and Advisory campaigns, converting inbound enquiries into full-service engagements.

The benefits of joining us!

  • Flexible and hybrid working, with the choice of our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane offices.

  • A unique, non-compliance role at the intersection of Audit, Advisory and Go to Market.

  • Structured learning and development opportunities, with study support for relevant external qualifications.

  • Clear career progression within a national firm backed by Crowe Australasia's global reach.

  • An inclusive, collaborative team culture and access to our national network of professionals.

  • Meaningful community impact through the Findex Community Fund.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Substantial experience in external Audit, assurance or a closely related professional services environment, with strong familiarity with the Audit client journey.

  • Experience working within or alongside an external Audit practice, as an auditor, client-side finance leader or business development professional supporting an Audit team.

  • Demonstrated success in business development, including managing a pipeline, generating referrals and winning new clients in a professional services or regulated environment.

  • The credibility to build trusted relationships with CFOs, Finance Managers, Audit Committees and Board members.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements, coordinating across service lines, Partners and client decision-makers to move opportunities from first conversation to signed engagement.

  • Sharp stakeholder management, commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset; familiarity with tender processes, RFP responses and fee negotiation is advantageous.

  • CA, CPA or similar professional qualification is desirable but not required.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
