As a Copilot Solution Engineer, you will work directly with customers to help them understand, evaluate and adopt Microsoft Copilot and agent-based solutions. You will combine deep technical expertise with consultative engagement skills to connect customer business priorities to Microsoft technologies, demonstrate solution value and help customers make informed technical decisions.
The Copilot SE role specifically covers ME7, Agent 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Cowork, Code, Autopilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio, Foundary & Agents, ME3 and Frontline Worker, with an expectation for strong 400+level technical depth and consultative selling capability.
Responsibilities
Independently lead technical demos, pilots, and envisioning sessions for Copilot, Cowork, ME7 and AI Agents.
Demonstrate Microsoft ME 7, Agent 365, M365 Copilot, Cowork, Code, Autopilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio, Foundary and agent capabilities aligned to customer business priorities.
Position Microsoft Copilot as the enterprise AI entry point and foundation for AI transformation.
Partner with Customer Success and partners to establish adoption, usage, and value realization plans.
Remove technical blockers and support deals by highlighting Microsoft’s differentiation.
Maintain 100% deal hygiene and partner attach for all qualified opportunities.
Achieve L200 consultative and L400 technical certifications and share deal insights quarterly.
- Hands on Keyboard and High Value Activities to support customers in faster demonstration of solution.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR 5+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
6+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
