About the role:

This exciting role leads visual story-telling for one of Australia’s best-known brands across videography, graphic design and social content, for both internal and external corporate communication audiences.

Reporting to the head of communications and channels the role spearheads planning, creating and measuring impactful content that directly supports the Bunnings strategy.

Please note: This role works across both Australia and New Zealand and will be required to perform regular work out of hours. Some domestic and international travel may be required.

 What’s involved:

  • Manage Bunnings’ in house production studio, with the ability to manage livestreams and video content as required.

  • Build deep in-house capability to produce creative and meaningful visual storytelling that supports Bunnings’ strategic priorities.

  • Bring key messages to life through creative, compelling storytelling and production of visual assets (and audio if required)

  • Work with the Communications team to publish assets on relevant internal channels and provide assets to external channel managers as required

  • Oversee management of the digital asset library

Who we’re looking for:

Our ideal candidate will have highly developed visual storytelling skills and the ability to run all components of a broadcast studio, along with the ability to produce creative and compelling content that engages our audiences.

You will have excellent planning, prioritisation, project and time management skills, and the ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams. Additionally, you will have the ability to develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure competing priorities are managed appropriately.

Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where they need to juggle resources to workshop concepts and transform them into compelling content sometimes in short timeframes.

You’ll need:

  • 8+ years’ experience in communications, content production, media or digital marketing

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience in communications, content production, media, journalism or digital marketing

  • Extensive experience developing content plans that support strategic agendas.

  • Experience managing production studios.

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and producing content under tight timeframes.

  • Advanced project management experience from concept development to delivery, including budgets and quality control.

  • Experience and understanding of supporting issues/crisis management
