We're looking for an experienced Content & Group Communications Manager to join Mirrastone Group and help shape how our brands connect with customers, communities and the wider industry.

If you're passionate about creating engaging content, developing brand stories, working across social media and digital campaigns, and turning great ideas into meaningful communications, we'd love to hear from you.

About us

About the role

Reporting to our General Manager of Marketing, you'll play a key role in shaping our content and communications strategy across multiple brands.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the creative side of marketing but also loves developing strategy, collaborating with people and seeing ideas come to life.

You'll lead a small team of two, including a Marketing Specialist focused on social media and a Marketing Coordinator.

What you'll be doing

  • Creating engaging content and compelling brand stories across digital platforms, websites, EDMs, campaigns and corporate communications

  • Developing communication strategies that bring our individual brands to life while maintaining a consistent group identity

  • Working closely with our Social Media Marketing Specialist to guide content direction, messaging and brand consistency

  • Managing PR activities, media relationships and external agency partnerships

  • Supporting industry engagement, corporate communications and key stakeholder relationships

  • Developing internal communications that keep our people connected and informed

  • Coordinating communication strategies for events, industry awards and brand initiatives

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting a small, collaborative marketing team

  • Working with senior leaders to turn business ideas and initiatives into engaging content

About you

We're looking for someone who brings a great mix of creativity, communication skills and strategic thinking.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience across marketing communications, content creation, PR or corporate communications, with a proven ability to develop and deliver effective communication strategies.

  • A genuine passion for content creation, storytelling and building strong brands

  • Excellent writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt your style across different audiences and platforms

  • A strong understanding of social media, digital marketing and how content supports brand engagement

  • Experience developing communication strategies across multiple brands or business divisions

  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external partners

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a small team

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Experience in residential construction, property or a related industry would be highly regarded

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys getting involved. You can think strategically, but you're just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves and creating the content yourself.

Why join Mirrastone Group?

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a growing Australian business.

You'll have the chance to shape how our brands are represented, bring fresh ideas to the table and work with a supportive marketing team across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
