You'll play a leading role in:

  • Developing enterprise and solution architectures across application, integration, data and security domains.
  • Defining target-state technology architectures, transition roadmaps and enterprise blueprints.
  • Leading architecture governance forums and ensuring alignment to architecture principles, standards and target states.
  • Advising executive and senior stakeholders on technology strategy, investment decisions and transformation initiatives.
  • Leading discovery workshops, problem-framing sessions and strategic architecture engagements.
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Providing architecture assurance and governance across large and complex programmes of work.
  • Building trusted client relationships and contributing to the growth of our Technology & Data Advisory practice.

Qualifications

We're interested in individuals who can operate confidently at both strategic and technical levels.

You'll likely have:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise, solution or technology architecture roles.
  • A minimum of between 3-5 years of experience in a consulting environment.
  • Experience leading architecture activities across large transformation programmes.
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • The ability to rapidly understand complex business and technology environments and identify practical opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience developing enterprise roadmaps, target-state architectures and governance frameworks.
  • A collaborative leadership style and a passion for mentoring and developing others.
  • Commercial awareness and an ability to connect technology decisions with business outcomes.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
