The Role:
Are you a seasoned commercial finance professional looking for your next gig in Media? We're looking for a Commercial Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team on a freelance basis until April 2026.
This is a high-impact position where you will collaborate directly with business leaders to shape financial strategy and drive performance. You will be hte go-to expert for all things financial insight, analysis and commercial guidance.
What does your day look like?
- Advise on strategic financial plans in partnership with senior stakeholders
- Partners to provide insight and challenge through financial analysis to enable business partners to make key decisions and achieve targets
- Support client/vendor negotiations with pricing, discounts, rebates and volume commitments.
- Analyses consolidated budgets and forecasts, offering clear interpretation and guidance
- Identify operational improvements through financial and performance analysis
- Collaborate on short, medium and long-term resource planning
- Assess client profitability and support margin improvement initiatives
- Provide high-quality analysis to senior finance leaders as needed
- Champion best-practice financial planning and data consistency across the business.
A bit about you:
- Strong commercial finance experience
- Experience with the Media industry
- PowerBI skills & a strong business partnering mindset
- Ability to influence stakeholders, provide guidance to the team and work independently as necessary
