A rare opportunity has arisen to appoint a Commercial Analyst to join our finance team in our national support office in Rowville. You will be responsible for commercial reporting and insights for the team. To be successful in the role, you will identify opportunities for financial improvement and assist key stakeholders with reporting to ensure business initiatives are delivering the expected financial outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Prepare, further develop and analyse a suite of commercial reports
Drive insight-led decision making across sales and promotional growth initiatives
Key business lead with data warehouse information usage
Contribute towards the annual budget setting process
Prepare relevant presentation reports for key stakeholders
Make business improvement recommendations to the relevant business leads by providing analytical support for those recommendations

You will consider yourself to be a consultative, proactive and commercially astute individual who enjoys working within a team to deliver results.
Your experience and work history will also demonstrate:
Experience in a Commercial or Business Analyst type role
Large multi-site sales environment experience highly regarded
Tertiary qualification in Finance or similar
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Demonstrated ability to influence the decision making process
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to initiate business improvement ideas
IT literacy and advanced Microsoft skills, specifically Excel and other software including Data Warehouse (Cognos experience preferable)
A planned approach, strong organisational skills and self-motivation
Financial accounting experience – CPA / CA highly regarded
