The Role
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Technology Division. In this role, you will provide commercial finance support and business partnering to the Technology Leadership Team, helping drive profitability, efficiency, and cultural change across our combined Automotive and Industrial businesses.
You will be a trusted advisor, delivering financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and process improvements that enable better commercial decision-making and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Technology Leadership Team to provide commercial finance insights and support
- Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting, including CAPEX and cash flow analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
- Collaborate across Finance and Technology teams to enhance governance and commercial outcomes
- Promote a diverse, respectful, and safe workplace aligned with GPC’s values and OH&S standards
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in finance-related roles
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably D365 and TM1) and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in project accounting and capital allocation is advantageous
