Cloud Engineer

Are you a Cloud Engineer who enjoys building, optimising and supporting cloud platforms that genuinely make an impact?
Join our Cloud Practice within Managed Services and work across modern, scalable AWS and Azure environments for a diverse range of customers.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll contribute to the design, build and ongoing operation of cloud platforms that support our customers’ transformation goals. You’ll work closely with internal teams and customer engineers, owning your work while being supported by experienced Senior and Lead Engineers.
What you’ll be doing

• Designing and engineering secure, scalable cloud solutions across AWS and Azure

• Contributing to detailed technical designs and producing high-quality engineering artefacts

• Collaborating with internal teams and customers to deliver meaningful outcomes

• Building, supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines, automation and cloud operations

• Troubleshooting issues and continuously improving cloud platforms and services

What you’ll bring

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Proven experience working with AWS and/or Azure public cloud platforms

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM and/or Bicep)

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python or JavaScript preferred)

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Solid understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus)

• Familiarity with Git and modern development lifecycle practices

• Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud migration tools, methodologies and best practices

• Knowledge of cloud storage solutions, data replication and disaster recovery strategies

• Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments
