Job DescriptionAs a Claims Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in our Group Life Claims team, guiding customers through life insurance claims with care, expertise, and efficiency.
- Independently manage a portfolio of life insurance claims from start to finish
- Assess, analyse, and process claims payments
- Engage with medical and legal specialists, rehabilitation consultants, and treating doctors to ensure timely outcomes
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience, following TAL’s values and claims policies
- Participate in case conferences and peer case discussions, ensuring best practice claims management
- Diverse backgrounds welcome – Allied health, psychology, finance, legal, insurance, and claims experience
- Customer-focused mindset – Strong communication, empathy, and decision-making skills
- Passion for guiding recovery – Experience in rehabilitation, return-to-work programs, or crisis management
