Consumer Marketing is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Marketing and Corporate Affairs function at CBA. The COE directly supports the Retail Bank leadership team to support the Retail Bank priorities.
The CommSec, Wealth and Private (W&P) Marketing Chapter, defines marketing strategies and plans to execute on the business strategy of the Wealth and Private Banking domain within the Retail Bank as well as CommSec.
Do work that matters
As the Chapter Lead, Product Marketing - CommSec, Wealth & Private, you will design and build marketing propositions that relevant target audiences find compelling and helpful. You will provide cross functional leadership of marketing teams creating clarity, focus and energy to support business and customer goals. You will also ensure that CommSec and W&P plans and campaigns are aligned and connected to the broader Marketing strategy.
You will report to the CoE Lead Consumer Marketing, and you will be a critical marketing partner to the Executive General Manager Wealth and Private as well as an indirect reporting line to the Executive General Manager CommSec.
On any given day, you will:
Define the Marketing strategy for the existing CommSec and W&P businesses to best drive awareness, acquisition, retention and engagement for the core products
Support the design, build and launch of new products for these businesses including self-managed superannuation and self-directed investments
Support the design of the mass affluent marketing strategy to best unlock opportunity in the mass affluent retail portfolio and acquire new to bank customers
Specifically, the role is also responsible for the growth of CommSec Brand
Build clear marketing propositions for relevant target segments that are insights lead and best position the range of products and services for the customer needs
Cultural leadership of the W&P Marketing chapter, through clear and transparent ways of working, upfront planning and partnership with core business partners and leading an agile operating model across the direct team and others that support the W&P business
Create and foster customer centric and progressive partnerships with key third party partnerships including Hollard, AIA, Petsure and CFS
We’d love to hear from people who have:
Proven experience in leading cross functional marketing teams of various disciplines to build and execute on customer centric plans to support business partners
Strong knowledge and experience in working with core Wealth business lines, in particular insurance, investments and Private Banking
Demonstrated track record in creating customer centric Marketing plans to support business partners and create strong ROI
Exceptional through the line marketing experience (ATL and 1:1)
Experience in leading brand management and campaigns
Experience as a Marketing partner to business lines, to support influence customer centricity through timely and compelling sharing of insights and trends to support innovation and business plans
Experienced people leader with a focus on developing teams and building capability
Experience in working in agile ways of working preferred
