Our Payment Acceptance team is focused on helping businesses accept payments easily and securely—whether in-store or online. Within this team, the Strategy & Propositions group plays a key role in shaping and delivering compelling product marketing strategies that drive growth and market leadership.

You’ll be part of a small, passionate team of Product and Proposition Marketing Managers, reporting to the Chapter Area Lead – Strategy & Propositions. You’ll also work closely with the Go-to-Market & Sales Mobilisation team to bring your propositions to life.
Your Impact:
As a Product Marketing Manager – Technical Propositions, you’ll work closely with product owners, designers, and go-to-market teams to bring innovative payment solutions to life. You’ll define value propositions, analyse market trends, and create compelling content that helps our products stand out and succeed.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with product teams to design and deliver customer-focused propositions that meet real market needs.
- Define and articulate the value proposition for each product, using market research and competitive analysis.
- Develop a wide range of sales and marketing tools—from pitch decks and flyers to white papers, case studies, and demo videos.
- Support go-to-market planning and execution in quarterly cycles, using customer feedback and performance data to refine strategies.
- Stay on top of industry trends and competitors, helping us differentiate and lead in the market.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across product, marketing, sales, partnerships, risk, and more.
- Represent CommBank with professionalism and integrity, both internally and externally.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
- Significant experience in B2B marketing, ideally with a technical or payments background.
- Proven success in go-to-market strategy, especially in e-commerce, payments, or merchant services.
- Experience in sectors like retail, hospitality, education, transit, or government is a plus.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills—you enjoy helping others grow.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident communicator with exceptional writing and design skills.
- Deep understanding of merchant industry trends, risks, and regulations.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset and a passion for learning.
- A strong risk mindset—you’re always thinking ahead and acting responsibly.
