The Learning Domain, housed within our central HR team, is transforming how we build skills and grow careers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful learning. The Learning Chapter Area plays a pivotal role in this transformation, driving the creation and curation of learning content that is skills-led, performance-focused, and outcomes-driven.
Your role This is a critical role, reporting directly to the Learning Domain Lead and acting as a senior leader within the Learning Domain. You'll blend strategic leadership with hands-on contributions, working within Agile squads to shape the future of learning at CBA.

Your responsibilities

Lead and Inspire: Drive a team of Learning professionals within our Learning Chapter to deliver exceptional HR and business outcomes.

Skills Development: Coach and support individual chapter members to enhance their skills, improve quality, and accelerate the delivery of learning solutions.

Squad Contribution: Actively participate in Agile squads as a learning expert and role model, contributing your expertise to enhance squad performance and outcomes.

Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic partner with stakeholders, contributing to the overall learning strategy aligned with business objectives.

Process Optimization: Design and implement streamlined processes for creating, developing, and delivering learning aligned with organisational goals.

Collaboration and Culture: Foster a culture of collaboration within the Learning Domain and across the organization, sharing best practices and knowledge effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback and data to refine processes, improve design outcomes, and enhance the chapter's value to the organization.

Resource Management: Contribute to the Learning Chapter Area workforce plan through effective resource and budget management.
Your Skills

Leadership Excellence: Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing teams, driving productivity, and solution excellence.

Agile Proficiency: Proven experience in Agile principles, successfully operating within a matrixed organization.
Experience Required:

7-10 years of experience in a learning and development or learning design role, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and demonstrating measurable outcomes and results.

Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire high-performing teams to consistently produce top-tier learning solutions.

Proven track record in strategic planning and execution, particularly in demanding learning or HR environments requiring high standards.

Experience in matrix management, demonstrating the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams toward achieving shared strategic goals.

Proficiency with learning technologies and platforms, enabling the creation of innovative and effective learning content.
