About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Architectural Bid Writer to join our team on a permanent remote basis. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience preparing high-quality bids and tenders for architectural, design, project management, and professional consulting services—not just construction projects.
You will play a critical role in developing compelling tender responses that clearly demonstrate our capabilities, experience, and competitive advantage. Working closely with senior leaders and technical experts, you'll produce persuasive submissions that meet Australian government and private sector procurement requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality bid and tender submissions for architectural, design, project management, advisory, and consultancy services.
- Collaborate with senior architects, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather relevant project information and personnel experience.
- Write clear, tailored, and persuasive responses that address tender evaluation criteria.
- Develop compelling executive summaries, methodologies, value propositions, and capability statements.
- Review tender documentation to identify key requirements, compliance obligations, risks, and differentiators.
- Coordinate supporting documentation including CVs, project sheets, case studies, certifications, and other submission materials.
- Maintain consistency in writing style, branding, formatting, and document quality.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on time.
- Work independently while responding to urgent tenders with quick turnaround times.
- Support continuous improvement of bid content, templates, and knowledge libraries.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bid writing or tender management within architecture, engineering, project management, consulting, or professional services.
- Proven experience preparing submissions for architectural and professional services projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian tender processes and procurement documentation.
- Experience responding to government and private sector tenders is highly preferred.
- Exceptional written English with outstanding editing and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation under tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
