Job Description

Are you a proactive problem solver with hands-on business improvement experience? Endeavour Group is seeking a Business Improvement Lead to join the Endeavour GO team.

Please note: This is NOT a technical or IT-focused role. We are looking for a business-focused practitioner who excels at driving practical, operational change on the ground.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will lead end-to-end business, operation, and process diagnostics across Endeavour Drinks. You will play a vital role in optimising processes, uplifiting operational capability, and delivering sustainable cost and value outcomes across our retail stores and business functions.

In this role, success is driven on the frontlines. You will work directly alongside our retail store teams, conducting observational studies, time-in-motion analyses, and interactive process mapping workshops right where the action happens. By immersing yourself in store operations, you will gain deep, practical insights into day-to-day workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and test new ideas through live work trials. You will act as a bridge between store operators and leadership, helping to simplify ways of working, drive productivity overlays, and build a culture of continuous improvement across our retail network

Candidates with a background in management consulting or retail operations consulting who are looking to apply their skills in-house are highly sought after.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • End-to-End Delivery & Diagnostics: Lead end-to-end process diagnostics, baseline operational reviews, and time-in-motion studies to identify cost optimization and value-creation opportunities.
  • Process Mapping & Value Stream Mapping: Map, design, and model target business processes and value streams to streamline operations and create clear roadmaps for business improvement.
  • Problem Solving & Early Hypotheses: Define complex business problems using structured approaches (such as working backwards), form early hypotheses, validate them with stakeholders, and present business cases with ROI estimates to senior leadership.
  • Process Improvement Projects: Manage and deliver continuous improvement projects within specified timeframes, driving the execution of quick wins and new operating models.
  • Lean Six Sigma & Capability Building: Utilize Lean Six Sigma methods to embed sustainable changes into BAU and deliver training to uplift process capability across teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate cross-functional workshops, collaborate with store and operational teams, and present clear, data-backed findings to steering committees
  • Ad-hoc travel from time to time as the role will require spending time in retail stores

  • Free thinking and creative hypothesis generation
  • At least 5 years of experience across Business/Process Improvement within an operational environment. 
  • Prior experience in business or management consulting is highly regarded.
  • Experience in the use of structured problem-solving approaches 
  • Ability to conduct detailed assessments (incl. desktop research, data analysis, document review etc.) and synthesising into digestible outputs (e.g. reports)
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of internal stakeholders
  • Strong and adaptable facilitation and communications skills
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Graduate, bachelor degree as a minimum
  • Experience as working part of a cross functional Project team working with business operators, subject matter experts and strategic leaders
  • Travel interstate and within state when required
