About the Role

The Business Development Representative will be a key driver of growth for JLL Technologies, focusing on hunting new business, generating qualified leads, and building a robust pipeline of opportunities across Australia and South East Asia. This role demands a hungry, tenacious self-starter who thrives on prospecting, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, and has a genuine passion for enterprise technology sales.
 

You will be on the front lines identifying and engaging prospective clients, understanding their technology challenges, and positioning JLL's enterprise software solutions, SaaS platforms, and technology consulting services as the answer. Your focus will be exclusively on finding organisations that need technology implementations, digital transformation support, or innovative workplace technology platforms. Working closely with sales leaders and account executives, you'll play a critical role in expanding our market footprint and accelerating revenue growth in the technology space.

This role can be based out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth.
 

Responsibilities
 

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting campaigns, cold calling, networking, industry events, and leveraging internal JLL business lines

  • Generate new leads for JLL's SaaS software, enterprise technology solutions, and technology consulting services through high-volume outreach activity

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging technology trends, customer needs, and competitive insights within the enterprise software landscape

  • Secure and lead introductory meetings with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital Transformation, and IT leaders

  • Facilitate discovery calls to understand client technology pain points and identify opportunities where JLL's solutions can add value

  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and targeted technology campaigns

  • Foster strong relationships across JLL functions and business lines to ensure seamless client engagement and maximise cross-selling opportunities

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to inform strategic decision-making
     

Key Skills & Requirements
 

  • Proven track record in business development or sales within technology, SaaS, enterprise software, or technology consulting sectors

  • Demonstrated success with cold calling and outbound prospectives; hungry, eager, and not afraid to pick up the phone

  • Strong sales acumen with exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Outstanding networking and relationship-building capabilities

  • Proficient in CRM software and sales tools

  • Genuine passion for enterprise technology and digital transformation

  • Self-motivated, high-energy, and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed

  • Understanding of commercial and corporate real estate, including facilities management and workplace solutions (desirable but not essential)
