Requirements

About the Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying, pursuing, and converting opportunities to grow EnerMech’s market share across Mining and Industrial industries. You’ll leverage your technical understanding and commercial acumen to position EnerMech’s integrated service solutions, develop client engagement strategies, and deliver sustainable revenue and profit growth.

Key Responsivities

  • Develop and execute sales and growth strategies across mining and energy markets across Australia.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, driving long-term partnerships.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with internal business lines to create tailored service solutions.
  • Deliver positive commercial outcomes through effective negotiation and account management.
  • Capture and communicate market intelligence to inform business strategy.
  • Support cross-selling initiatives and business development training within the team.

About You

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development or client-facing sales roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth in the mining, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.
  • Confident working across multiple service lines and teams.
  • Engineering or business-related qualification preferred.
