As a Business Development Manager at Interleasing your role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, cultivate new client relationships, and securing successful customer acquisitions to ensure sustained growth and a strong pipeline of future prospects.
We are looking for sales professional who can comfortably present at an Executive level and acquire and activate new business both within and outside of a tender environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed new business targets, incorporating both short and long-sales life cycles
- Identify, develop, evaluate and pursue greenfield leads and opportunities to maintain a continuing pipeline of current and future prospects in order to meet the company’s customer and growth strategies.
- Actively manage a continuous prospect pipeline and develop strategic client relationships.
- Capture, track and report on all sales activity including lead generation and pipeline activity.
- Actively pursue professional representation and involvement in industry forums and events to assist in the development of legitimate business relationships which may lead to new prospects.
- Proactively identify and target quality prospects which will benefit from the range of company products and allow the company optimum cross-sell opportunity.
- Manage the execution of all sales proposals and quotes, in line with the company’s sales process.
- Engage subject matter experts where necessary to influence customer in the uptake of company products and to promote qualitative outcomes.
- Prepare and manage sales presentations to, and negotiations with, prospects to achieve growth targets.
You will bring:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in senior B2B sales.
- A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in business-to-business markets
- Results orientated mind set
- Strong strategic relationship building capability
- Sound commercial acumen with confidence dealing with senior level executives
- Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to cope with competing demands and successfully prioritise outcomes
- Full Australian Driver's License
- The ability to travel interstate (ad hoc)
