Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across the APAC sports sector.
  • Leverage your existing network within national bodies, professional clubs, and emerging leagues to initiate warm conversations.
  • Actively source new leads and execute outreach strategies—via LinkedIn, events, referrals, and direct targeting.

  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in B2B environments.
  • Established relationships across sports organizations in Australia (bonus if extended into SE Asia, NZ, or Japan).
  • Deep understanding of how sports orgs operate—whether it’s governance, performance, commercial, or tech functions.
  • Confident, credible, and professional presentation and communication style.
  • Able to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative, delivery-focused team.
  • Comfort with hybrid work, regular travel, and active participation in sports industry events.
  • Passion for sport and innovation—someone who genuinely wants to improve the way sport is managed and experienced.

Location:

  • Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
