Job Summary:

This position will provide support to existing customers and growth activities of sourcing, qualifying and close of new customers for the M2M Group’s portfolio of products (SIMs and Hardware). The role requires a flexible approach, being comfortable working either as part of a team or independently as required in an office environment. There is a need to adapt quickly to a variety of client environments with the capacity to interact effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target industries.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective lead generation and qualification.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within customer organisations.
  • Understand customer needs and pain points to tailor solutions and proposals.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and provide exceptional customer service.

Solution Selling:

  • Develop compelling value propositions and sales presentations that highlight the benefits of our IoT solutions.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, engineering, and marketing) to develop customised solutions.

Sales Process:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Utilise CRM tools to track sales activities, forecast sales, and report on performance metrics.
  • Accurately forecast sales and manage revenue expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the IoT or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of IoT concepts, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
