Works closely with: Channel Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Regional & Global Fluke Networks teams

Role Purpose

The Business Development Manager (BDM) – Fluke Networks ANZ is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and strategic adoption of Fluke Networks solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, expanding and enabling channel partners, and building strong relationships with key end users and influencers across priority verticals including Data Centres, Enterprise IT, Structured Cabling, Industrial Networks, and Critical Infrastructure.

The BDM acts as the commercial and technical evangelist for Fluke Networks in ANZ—translating global strategy into local execution while providing market intelligence back into the business.

Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and execute ANZ business development plans to achieve annual revenue, growth, and market share targets for Fluke Networks.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities, emerging segments, and untapped markets.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
  • Translate global Fluke Networks strategies into locally relevant go‑to‑market initiatives aligned to ANZ conditions.
Channel & Partner Development
  • Develop, enable, and grow distribution and integration partners across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Work with channel partners to create joint business plans, growth initiatives, and account development strategies.
  • Deliver partner training, sales enablement, and solution positioning to improve capability, confidence, and conversion.
  • Support partner‑led demand generation activities including roadshows, workshops, and customer events.
Key Accounts & End Users
  • Build strong relationships with key end users, consultants, and industry influencers, supporting complex sales opportunities where required.
  • Lead or support strategic opportunities in priority verticals such as Data Centres, Enterprise IT, Industrial Networks, Utilities, and Defence.
  • Position Fluke Networks as a solution provider, not just a test tool supplier.
Market Intelligence & Feedback
  • Gather and share market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to support pricing, product positioning, and future product planning.
  • Provide structured input into forecasting, demand planning, and pipeline health.
  • Act as the ANZ voice into regional and global Fluke Networks teams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support new product introductions (NPIs), campaigns, and vertical initiatives.
  • Support internal training to ensure Sales and Marketing teams are confident in Fluke Networks value propositions and applications.
  • Contribute to ANZ strategy reviews, QBRs, and planning cycles.

  • Revenue growth and market share for Fluke Networks ANZ
  • New business and pipeline creation
  • Channel partner performance and engagement
  • Forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene
  • Adoption of strategic solutions and vertical initiatives
Skills & Experience Essential
  • Proven experience in business development, channel sales, or key account management within B2B or technology‑driven markets.
  • Strong understanding of distribution‑led sales models.
  • Ability to engage confidently with technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in building and converting sales pipelines.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Desirable
  • Experience in network infrastructure, structured cabling, data centres, enterprise IT, or test & measurement.
  • Exposure to working with systems integrators, installers, or consultants.
  • Experience working with global matrix organisations.
