About the Role 

Join JLL in proud partnership with Australia Post to drive the expansion of one of Australia's most recognisable logistics networks. We're seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to grow Australia Post's parcel locker presence nationwide through strategic relationship building and opportunity qualification.
As Business Development Lead, you'll identify and qualify prime locations by engaging property owners, managers, and occupiers across assigned target areas. Leveraging Australia Post's established networks and brand credibility, you'll secure meetings, present compelling value propositions, and generate qualified leads for our installation pipeline.

The successful candidate will be required to attend the client office on-site in Surry Hills, Sydney or Richmond, Melbourne at least three days per week. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential partners within assigned target areas including local councils, public authorities, shopping centres, and private landlords
  • Leverage Australia Post's networks to facilitate introductions and build strategic relationships with property owners, managers, and occupiers
  • Deliver compelling presentations and data-driven business cases to decision-makers at all levels, including executive C-Suite
  • Seamlessly transition qualified leads to the Transaction Management team for contract negotiation and execution
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and comprehensive reporting on opportunities and market segment performance
  • Collaborate closely with Location Analysts, Network Operations, Transaction Managers, and Projects team to ensure smooth delivery
  • Identify process bottlenecks and work with stakeholders to implement improvements and drive continuous excellence
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging partnership opportunities


Key Skills Required

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or relationship management, preferably in real estate
  • Outstanding presentation skills with ability to engage and influence at C-Suite level
  • Proven track record of converting prospects into qualified opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills with experience maintaining pipeline data and meeting ambitious targets
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
  • Business acumen to articulate compelling value propositions and create persuasive business cases
  • Adaptability and resilience with ability to operate efficiently under pressure
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle with willingness to travel locally and occasionally interstate
