About the Role

In this role, you’ll work alongside the Corporate Sales Manager to generate sales of fuel cards, targeting medium to large-sized businesses. Using your strategic mindset and sales skills, you’ll turn opportunities into results by:

  • Following up on internal leads
  • Leveraging your existing network
  • Proactively reaching out to new businesses

You’ll create a monthly sales plan with clear goals, execute it to meet and exceed targets, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the Sales Process: From building target account lists and conducting needs analyses to developing tailored plans and closing deals.
  • Present with Confidence: Prepare, deliver, and follow up on client presentations.
  • Refine & Update Materials: Ensure sales materials are current and effective, making improvements as required.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Be the Face of Fleetcard: Attend expos and conferences to showcase our offerings and engage with prospective customers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Sales Experience: A proven track record in business development or similar sales roles, preferably working with medium to large-sized accounts.
  • Organisational Skills: A detail-oriented approach with strong administrative abilities (Word, Excel, and Salesforce experience is a bonus).
  • Tech-Savvy: A logical approach to adopting and applying new technologies.
  • Resilient & Driven: The ability to overcome challenges and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional Presence: A current driver’s licence is essential for client visits and event attendance.
